Whoa! Finally a new job! From wednesday on, I will be working for MO Production with graphics.
Oh my god! Buzzin Fly Volume One is THE summer soundtrack!! Mindblowing house music from Ben Watt’s label.
Review of the compilation in swedish available here
Wow.. I just listened to a complete commentary track on DVD for the first time. :) I haven’t really felt the urge before, but the Dead Like Me series really affected me. (Yes I know I’m nagging :)). I watched it like I described here.
The track was great to listen to. All of the main cast were discussing their thoughts and ideas through the whole pilot episode. They had some cool ideas for the future of the series, although some were perhaps a little too enthusiastic. It was a very good platform for expanding your own thoughts and I’m sure it will keep me occupied a while, figuring stuff out. That’s really what defines a good movie or a series for me. It should stick to you after you’ve watched it.
Just go get yours of this now, I insist! :)
Exilia. Good female fronted metal band from Italy on the great german label Supersonic who also brought us Guano Apes.
I changed the background color to #F2F2EE from plain white, which didn’t pass my evaluation.
No 50 Foot Wave CD in the mail today. :(
50 Foot Wave is comprised of Throwing Muses front woman Kristin Hersh, joined by Muses? bassist Bernard Georges and new drummer Rob Ahlers. This is Hersh’s first new band since she founded the influential Throwing Muses and promises to be a harder, faster, more intense experience.
From the samples I’ve heard I’m sure this will be on heavy rotation in my player the next weeks. Listen and order from CD Baby, who simply has the coolest order confirmation mails on earth! :)
I’ve just started watching the really unique Dead Like Me tv series.
For Georgia Lass, life is boring. With a dreary day job and a tepid family life, the typically grim 20-year old suspects that she must be destined for something more… stimulating. She’s right, of course, though she could have scarcely suspected that destiny would take the form of an errant scrap of Soviet plumbing. She discovers that the afterlife does indeed exist, where she has been assigned a job as a ‘Reaper.’ It’s her job to reap the souls from the living and guide them to their eternal reward. Besides coping with her new job, she must learn to deal with being young and starting out – and of course, being dead.
Dark humor and refreshing views of life and death. It will be interesting to see how long they can keep it up. A second season is on it’s way. Recommended! :)
The first playlist post. Here I will present my 10 most played songs during the month. I’m also thinking of putting them up as streaming mixtapes, but I’m not sure how legal that is. Anyone know if it’s allowed or not?

Just finished my Spooks season 2 marathon. That’s one of the reasons why I love dvds, you can watch it all at once. :) Well, at least more than one episode a day. Some might say that it’s part of the charm to see one episode a week, but it gets much more intense this way… Try it! Can’t wait for season 3 which is currently being filmed. To be aired this autumn.
And oh.. check this out. The Loftcube. Looks cosy, doesn’t it?
Carl Aberatio, my gracious host and dear friend, finally launched his site I made for him. Check out his music! :)
Really sad news. There will be no Loveparade in Berlin this year. :(((
From Loveparade.de
Berlin, den 14. April 2004
This was gonna be my fourth year going down together with my cousin. I will of course go to Berlin this summer anyway (if no financial trouble), but it’s a great loss not having Loveparade around. :(
I’m not much of a wine drinker, but yesterday I discovered a very tasty Cabernet Sauvignon. El Condor. A++++ will drink again. ;)
Just arranged a nice trade through Skivstallet.nu. I’m getting two Armand Van Helden singles and one Heather Nova for some old Asia 2001 promo I dug out from the attic. :) I’m gonna give the Nova to Svante since he’s more of a fan than me.
Later today is beer time at Martin’s place. Had dinner there yesterday and we decided to inaugurate the spring sun and his new plastic balcony furniture with some cold ones together with Anna, John and Tobbe. Mmm…beer. :9

May is gonna be loaded with new releases. Give me a job so I can afford them all. :)
Sigh.. Where’s the luck? Bostream is down again. So I’m just sitting here listening to the My Ruin CD I got today, tapping this text with the stylus.
While I’m at it I might as well describe todays mobile photo. The bus hit a car when turning off the highway. No one got hurt. I got off and walked home since it was so close to the bus stop.
Typical.. my internet connection was dead when I returned home from shopping to the easter dinner at Mats’ place tonight. Some nice hobgoblin ale and weissbier.
I also ran into Anna from the library</a>. :) I decided to go visit some day next week.
Let’s see if my isp will fix the connection..
..happy birthday to me.. ich freue mich das ich geboren bin und… lalala etc etc… So now I’m 23. I rarely get into that “birthday mood” other people seem to. We’ll see what happens. I’ve invited some friends over for dinner. Meat pie will be served. :)
And oh.. I’ve already gotten a present from Walle!
Curb your enthusiasm Season 1 DVD!! :D Thanks a lot!
I’ve started to read again. “The human stain” by Philip Roth. I saw the movie with Anthony Hopkins and Nicole Kidman and I just felt like I had to read the book. I think I need to see the movie again after I’m finished.
“It is 1998, the year in which America is whipped into a frenzy of prurience by the impeachment of a president, and in a small New England town, an aging classics professor, Coleman Silk, is forced to retire when his colleagues decree that he is a racist. The charge is a lie, but the real truth about Silk would have astonished even his most virulent accuser.
Coleman Silk has a secret, one which has been kept for fifty years from his wife, his four children, his colleagues, and his friends, including the writer Nathan Zuckerman. It is Zuckerman who stumbles upon Silk’s secret and sets out to reconstruct the unknown biography of this eminent, upright man, esteemed as an educator for nearly all his life, and to understand how this ingeniously contrived life came unraveled. And to understand also how Silk’s astonishing private history is, in the words of The Wall Street Journal, “magnificently” interwoven with “the larger public history of modern America.”

It should be fun to read the rest of the trilogy of which this book is part of.
